A telegram from the Acting Viceroy Teh Su of Can-

ton, under date 22nd September, 1900 at 9.30 received

by Sir Chin Chen Lofengluh in London at 8.30 p.m.

Chao, Sun Yat-Sen being now in Hongkong living in

the Japanese houses in Wyndham Street, and Chieh Su

St., are again plotting and instigating the disturb-

ances in the Kwantung and Kwansi Provinces.

order of the Two Kwang Provinces will undoubtedly

be endangered.

Please request Lord Salisbury to be so good as

to instruct by telegraph the Governor of Hongkong

to expel them from Colony and wire me His Lordship's

reply".
